Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and have been able to get out on the road and are making memories - good ones! I've been reading some travel memoirs of people who are RVing full time and also memoirs who travel internationally - even with kids in tow!
If either of those describes you - I am in awe! Anyone who steps outside the box and lives their life just a bit different than what is expected of us - is amazing! I think you're wonderful.
I thought I would share a bit of my history with you. A number of years
ago I traveled for a year in a 1951 Western Flyer Bus that had been converted (roughly) into a motorhome. These buses were used by the military in northern Canada during the 1950's and were half truck and half bus. The front had the seats and the back was blocked off with a big back door for all of their supplies. They were called a "Bruck". I loved that old bus and we drove it across Canada, all thru the US and into Mexico for a full year. It was an amazing experience I
will never regret.
