It's March! Spring is just around the corner. I'm not sure I believe that since it's been snowing off and on for days! But to be optomistic we have our camper van in for servicing to get it ready - we are so ready to get camping!
As you know I am sending this newsletter out once a month - for now, with plans for increasing broadcasts as I get better organized. You can always visit the RVing in
Canada to see what's current - please do!
Thanks so much for being part of this journey with me - I appreciate everyone of you and thanks for the emails and encouragement! You are awesome!
Current Projects
Each Newsletter I'll share with you what projects I am working on so you can get invovled if you want.
March 2023 -
I am currently
working on a guide for ourAmerican neighbours to the south listing all of the basics as to what you need when coming to Canada. I've already posted one article on what's required for crossing the border in terms of documents, etc. See below.
I am working on a post on what food you can bring with you since this seems to be a popular question on social media. I've spent a
great deal of time poring over websites, government sites and asked all kinds of questions so hope this helps you out with this issue.
I'll continue with more posts on this subject to include information on bringing pets, insurance, gun laws, food shopping, money issues, border crossings, and everything else I can come up with.
I am looking for more photos of border crossings - if
you wish to share your photos I will give you credit but I'm sorry I can't pay for them. Thanks for those who have sent theirs - appreciate it.
March - the plan is to continue working on free camping in Canada information. I'll be looking for your input if you would like to share. I've started already with a post on finding FREE campsites using
iOverlander. (see below)
LOGO CONTEST - It seems that RVing in Canada needs a LOGO and I'm really hoping some of you creative RVers will give this some thought and submit your designs. There's a prize! Once I get everyones submissions I'll send them out for you
to vote on! Deadline is April 3, 2023.
