It's February! The days are getting longer, which makes me very happy. We didn't go anywhere this winter and our Campervan has a cover over it just waiting for the weather to warm up so we can get out on the road. I can hardly wait.
I am planning on sending this newsletter out once a month for now - I'm still gathering information to share with you as fast as I can. You can always visit the RVing
in Canada to see what's current.
Thanks so much for being part of this journey with me - I appreciate everyone of you and thanks for the emails and encouragement! You are awesome!
Current Projects
Each Newsletter I will share with you what projects I am working on so you can get invovled if you want.
February 2023 -
I am currently
creating a guide for ourAmerican neighbours to the south listing all of the basics as to what you need when coming to Canada. This will include information on bringing pets, insurance, gun laws, food shopping, money issues, border crossings, and everything else I can come up with. I am looking for photos of border crossings - if you wish to share your photos I will give you credit but I'm sorry I
can't pay for them.
Canada's National Parks - I will continue to work on our beautiful National Parks blog posts and would love to hear from you if you have a favourite park or photo you would like to share.
March - the plan is to work on free camping in Canada information. I'll be looking for your input if you would like to
share.
RV-SHOWS - FEBRUARY 2023
February 9-12 Edmonton RV Expo & Sale
Location: Edmonton Expo Centre – Edmonton, Alberta
THE MILEPOST: This is the Bible for anyone even thinking of traveling to Alaska and through Canada. Before COVID our plan was to travel to Alaska in our motorhome and the first thing I did was purchase
this book. I poured over every page figuring out our route, where we would stay and what highlights we didn't want to miss. Then COVID hit. We were really disappointed but I can't forget how much I found this book to be so helpful! I never regretted purchasing the MilePost.
